A visit to a local bakery where we will have the chance to get a closer look of how Cretan traditional savouries (rusks, bread etc) are made.
A visit to an Olive grove where we will examine the olive trees and learn how Cretan honey is made.

A visit to traditional multi-awarded cheese factory. If it is not the cheese making period, we will be able to enter, otherwise our guide will tell you everything about the cheese making procedure before our superior tasting experience.

In the village of Ano Vouves, you can admire the oldest recorded olive tree in the world, proclaimed as a natural monument.

Although scientists can not be absolutely sure, its age is estimated between 3000 and 5000 years and still remains alive, fructifying until today. It had as a base a wild olive tree, and then became domesticated by humans via Tsounati variety.

Its bole, chiseled by time as a sculpture, has a circumference of 12.5 meters and a diameter of 4.6 meters.

Pnevmatikakis Winery is a family run winery in Kissamos, with many years of experience, expertise and extensive presence and contribution in Cretan wine making. You will have the chance to learn amazing things regarding the wine making tradition of Crete.

Moreover, you will taste many varieties of locally made and awarded wine from the collection of the winery together with local delicacies that accompany these amazing spirits.
Bear in mind that as the winery is open for families, kids are served with a special platter and drinks, selectively crafted by the winery family!

After departure from Pnevmatikakis Winery we will visit a nearby beach in order to complement such a full and wonderful day.
